We came back to Hyde hall show on Sunday, after seeing it Saturday, to buy the set. We were told (and it is written on our receipt) that we would receive our order the week commencing 5th August. When ringing today on 7th August, as we have still not heard anything, we were met with an extremely rude and disgusting response. I explained that we were away next week and that we were told it would have been delivered this week. The man on the phone said that they were prioritising the more expensive and bigger purchases from the show and therefore we wouldn’t get it till next week. I said we could be here Monday but not the rest of the week. The man said he couldn’t do Monday but could gain entry to our garden and leave it there and we pay by bank transfer to which I explained was fine however he’d have to wait until we our back in the country as we will be abroad and we’d want to check it. His response was “you’re making a lot of fuss over a £189 bistro set”. I told him that it was rude and said I didn’t appreciate being spoken to like that. So he continued to have absolutely disgusting customer service and basically told us our custom is of little importance. I explained that if he continued being rude then I would completely cancel the order to which I was spoken over the top of with the reply of “well just cancel the order then, send me an email and cancel it”. I said “really” to which he said yes and as I continued to speak he hung up on me! I have never spoken to by such a rude mannered person let alone when I am meant to be purchasing one of your products. There is now no way I will EVER be buying products from you and I will be informing family and friends of this disgusting attitude. The customers who start off with the small purchase are those that will come back. Your customer service stinks! I am angry, embarrassed and ashamed that I nearly gave you my money! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
